Enligt Athens News fortsätter bränderna i Viannos idag. De skriver så här:

A wildfire that broke out on Monday in Viannos municipality on Crete was still raging on Tuesday. Three firemen have been injured in the fire and two citizens have been transferred to hospital with respiratory problems. The villages of Kato Viannos and Chondros were evacuated and at least three houses have been damaged by the fire. 53 firemen with 25 engines, a team of 50 people on the ground and 2 helicopters are battling to put down the blaze, assisted by 20 volunteers and 20 soldiers.
