In response to your question - which is in fact one of the most frequent we receive as our island is not known for its brewing culture at least as much as for its viniculture – please note that Volkan Beer is a Santorini Beer. It brings you the inspiration and uniqueness of Santorinian rare flavours. Our company seat is in Fira, Santorini. Our two key ingredients are Santorinian, Santorini Rare Honey and the Volkan Lavarock™ Filter. We also use Citrus Medica from nearby Naxos Island. To make sure Santorini’s delicate ecosystem is not harmed, the final brewing for the time being takes place in Argos, Peloponnese. We are committed and are working towards establishing a local Santorini brewery with minimum environmental footprint and have already found a place for it.</SPAN>Real estate for a Santorini brewery and a dedicated seawater desalination plant to be built in Santorini has been allocated; however, first we want to ensure that the plant has the smallest possible environmental footprint.</SPAN>
