Air traffic controllers (ATC) announce plans to strike 8:00 to 12:00 and 18:00 to 22:00 on both days, during which all airports will close and flights to, from and within Greece will be canceled or rescheduled — EEEKE Press Release (in Greek). Some mercy is being shown to travelers and the tourism industry, as they did not call a 24-hour or 48-hour strike. *Also note that Greek air traffic controllers called off their strike less than 24 hours before the last general strike on June 15.
