I wrote before that Varkiza almost IS a suburban village to Athens...I love places like that, I like bigger places with a lot to do and with a possibility to drive around in the neighbourhood...The mainland is much more interesting to me....but as I say: That is MY opinion!
For me it is NOT crazy to spend a week in Varkiza in the beginning or the end of season
I will certanly do it again!
