facts :

Prices after the introduction of Euro have increased dramatically. The reasons? Many, but the most important the inadequate greek state.(reality recognized by the vast majority of people who live in Greece).
One beer in periptero costs 1,20 euro so its a joke to talk about such prices in restaurants or cafes. the cheapest beer (500ml) in a tavern/restaurant/cafe can not be under 2 euro in our days (actually the average price is 2,5-3,0 euro)
A typical trick that is common the last years is that in many cafes they serve the 330ml bottle and they charge it for 500ml.(!)
And finally something about cyprus, the prices there are considerably more expensive then in the most places in Greece.
For example to drink a frappe in Nicosia (latest price) costs 5.5 euro!!!
