Nu har Karpathos fått sitt första coronafall. Myndigheterna skriver:

"The strategy of the Ministry of Health and the EODY is that the entire population is potentially infected with the virus and therefore must be treated with individual consistency and responsibility in order to reduce the spread of the disease in the community.
We wish all patients a speedy recovery and we urge all our fellow citizens to stay home. We also urge those outside Karpathos to stay there and visit our island when the risk of spreading the virus expires due to difficulties in handling and handling serious incidents."

Mycket förståelig!

Jag skrev precis om det i den länga tråden om Corona. Det gäller en sjuksköterska som arbetar på sjukhuset i Pigadia. Enligt rapporter har sjuksköterskan inte rest utanför Karpathos nyligen.
